My second book

Last weekend, I started gathering all the finished materials I have and formed my second book of poetry. I'm so excited about this one because it is going to be thicker. It would probably be around 400 pages back to back. I'm also planning on submitting it to a real publishing house for review. Wish me luck!

What have I been doing lately?

Been busy with the gym and watching what I eat. Gosh, I can't even write! LOL For a week now, I have started this Food Journal counting all my calorie intake. It's crazy. But I got rewarded: I lost four pounds trying to watch my calorie intake. It's good! I'm always hungry but I watch what I eat and log the calories. I feel great.

Yesterday's Training

I went to the 24hr gym yesterday and met with my trainer Jason. I was honest to tell him that I haven't gone for two weeks due to my packing-moving-unpacking event the past week. I was so sure he was disappointed.

(Yes, I have moved back to San Jose because it is closer to work. It will save me a lot of money. However, my rent doubled up compared to the previous rent I had. At least, I now have privacy in a closed door room with my own bathroom inside. )

Anyway, I was told by my trainer that I really need to work on with disciplining myself when it comes to what I eat and what I do. He was right. I haven't gone to the gym. I have been eating bad food. So, after my workout last night, I went to the nearby grocery store and bought what I needed for the whole week. I bought salads, cereal, milk, fruits and tv dinners. The good thing about tv dinners is that it shows how much calories I would be taking in. I'm only allowed to have 1800 or 1700 calories a day. Geez, that's way too easy huh? LOL.

I need to move a lot. The gym is so near my new place. I just need to go psyche myself into driving there instead of just chatting in front of my laptop or watching tv. You must be asking why I couldn't? Because my being horny gets a hold of my mental focus and the laptop is where I find my solution. LOL. (Ok, I'm bad) Oh well...

After Moving Back to San Jose...

My whole body is still sore from moving last weekend. I didn't have the energy to write anything until today. The only thing I have done is unpack, organize, sleep and work. Sigh! I just want to sleep all the time. I missed going to the gym for two weeks. Not good!

Someone asked me to go eat dinner tonight. That's why I dressed up a bit and went to work since I thought I'd go straight to meet him after work. When I got here in the office, I saw his message cancelling everything. Grrr!

Everything is just now going right... Sigh.

Asada A La Mexicana

My co-workers and I drove to the East Side of San Jose for lunch. There's this Mexican Taquieria we always go to and their food was really good. (Let me use nicknames for all the people that I would mention in my blogs so to protect their privacy) Mrs. Hawaiian and I forgot that the restaurant policy was "cash only" that was why we had to cross the street to get cash from an ATM.

Mrs. Chicana was not comfortable walking or crossing the streets of East Side San Jose, but Mrs. Hawaiian was the one full of guts to do so. Me? I just didn't care. I wanted to eat lunch so I had to get money. That's all I cared about.

Anyway, we walked back to the restaurant and ordered food. Yummy! I got their Asada a la Mexicana. It was a slice of grilled steak which includes rice, beans, veggies, chips and guacamole. Hmmm delicious!

The only bad thing about this: I'm feeling sleepy now here at my desk. LOL.

Fresh Choice Lunch

One of my co-workers usually go out with me for lunch. We try to exchange the use of our cars and it was her turn to drive. We went to Fresh Choice located at the outskirts of Great Mall in Milpitas. It was my second time going there and I have started loving it. I could eat a lot and would still be healthy. So, I rewarded myself with a mixed chocolate-vanilla ice cream cone on our way back to work. It helped me feel comfortable with the hot weather. I was glad that my office suit's inner blouse was not sleeveless or else my jacket would kill me with heat. LOL.

My dislocated shoulder

The right side of my neck has been heavier than normal giving out a tiny amount of spasm and tightness. I'm assuming that it is coming from my healed dislocated shoulder. Eversince that April 10, 2006th work accident, my right shoulder has not been normal. It is easily tired, feels heavy and sore. I'm presently having a stiff right neck and I am positive that my shoulder has a big part behind it. I do try to massage myself using my left hand crossing it over to reach my back right shoulder and back neck. I can feel that the muscle is tight and hard. I then compare its contour with the other shoulder and it is very different. I feel like not normal physically although no one can even tell. It's me, inside, since I know why. I'm having a light migraine behind the back of my skull and I do know it is started by my neck and shoulder pain. Ah, what to do... especially when the workman's compensation benefit has been stopped. Sigh.

Normalcy?

Looks like Monday is normal compared to this past weekend exciting events. But my dreams aren't. They're still weird and I can still recall them all.

The first weird one was me tied up and there's someone giving me pain. I was sure it was a man but it could be a woman. He/she was a shadow and I was groaning. Nightmare! I did wake up in the middle of the night and drank water. When I went back to sleep, the incident was gone.

The second one on a different day was me tied up upside down and again groaning or moaning for help. Well, I sure hope it was for help. LOL. There were no one else in that dream but me.

The third one again on a different day is me going in a toilet room. The flush was working invertedly flushing out the feces instead of flushing it down. Weird and yucky!

Then the fourth one was this morning. My alarm clock woke me up at 4:00am but I decided to jump back in bed. I had a dream that I woke up at 6pm. LOL. I did wake up but it was passed 5:00am. It was just about right. If I did wake up at 6pm, I would be terribly late for work.

Everything has been weird lately. My life, my friends, the men I date, the places I go to... I still want to sleep for a long time...

My Nomadic Journey...

Moving again at the end of June. All I can say is that I'm excited to be in my own room having my own bathroom. I'm imagining myself busy decorating the whole room, although I do have to remind myself not to go overboard. I have researched the items I want to put in my room and bathroom. Ladybug collectibles! Ah, I just can't wait...
